Owen’s Bagels is my Sunday morning sanctuary.
Nothing compares to their graffiti wall art, crazy bagel menu, and fire music they play no matter what time of the day it is. Catch me in my pajamas breaking it down to my queen, Cardi B’s playlist.
You have a lot of options to choose from here. DiCarlo’s Pizza bagel? Check. Tonya Harding Club on sesame? Yup. Vegetarian options like the Muenster Mash with hummus? Uh-huh honey.
But my all-time-hangover-savior-snack-conqueror-cravings-satiated-good-for-my-soul bagel?
YA BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Ya Boi. That’s its name. Try not to do the above when you order it. I can’t say I haven’t though.
This guy is stuffed with cream cheese, smoked turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, and nacho Doritos. Holy sugarhoneyicedtea!
And as if it could not get any better, behold: Breakfast in Bed.
That’s a waffle covered in maple syrup in there, kiddos. The bagel is scooped out and stuffed with cheddar, egg, sausage, and the waffles to give you a breakfast experience you will never forget.
Pro tip: I know it’s hard to get up a little earlier on Sunday, even after you went to Rooftop Saturday night. Owen’s will be slammed if you sleep in though. I wake up around 7:30, hustle over for my bagel fix, and watch the line accumulate. Eat a great breakfast and go back to bed after. That’s a win friends.
But any day of the week, when you need a really great bagel sandwich Owen’s will always be there for you. Support this local gem!
